  1. Your use of UTSA Pressbooks platform is governed by the Pressbooks.com Terms of Service.
  2. You understand that the copyright status of any content you create or edit using the UTSA Pressbooks platform is governed by the UT System intellectual property policy (Rule 90101)
  3. You understand that the UTSA Pressbooks platform is intended for the creation of open educational materials for use in a UTSA course. 
  4. You agree to publish any content you create using the UTSA Pressbooks platform under a Creative Commons license. Any content with a No Derivatives license attribute cannot be added to UTSA Pressbooks, as the No Derivatives attribute restricts reuse of the content.
    You agree to comply with all copyright and other intellectual property laws. If you have questions about copyright, help is available at the UTSA Libraries
  5. You agree to maximize the accessibility of any content you create on the UTSA Pressbooks platform. Learn what you can do in the Accessibility & Universal Design chapter of the Pressbooks User Guide. 
  6. You understand that a copy of any content you create or edit using the UTSA Pressbooks platform will be posted in Runner Research Press in order to preserve a stable version and make your content more discoverable to search engines. UTSA Pressbooks titles are also automatically linked in Library Quick Search in order to increase discoverability for UTSA students.
  7. You must have an active UTSA affiliation to use the UTSA Pressbooks platform.
