Repaso – Verbos regulares en el presente
Objectives:
- In this section, we will go over the verbs we use to talk about the uni’s experience.

Notes:
All the verbs in Spanish end in -AR, -ER, -IR. This form is also known as the infinitive form of the verb.
- CaminAR – to walk
- ComER – to eat
- EscribIR – to write
To conjugate the verbs, you need to find the root of the word by removing the -AR, -ER, or IR ending and adding the specific ending for the appropriate pronoun.
caminAR – root = camin

él/ella | camina | ellos/ellas | caminan |
bebER – root = beb
yo | bebo | nosotros/nosotras | bebemos |

Verbs used to talk about the uni’s experience:
discutir | tomar | compartir | presentar | aprender |
leer | investigar | recordar | participar | asistir |
Other verbs:
- Yo hago – I make/do Yo hice – I made/did
- Yo voy (a) – I go (to) Yo fui – I went
- Yo traigo – I bring. Yo traje – I brought

- Now is your turn, in groups of two or three, create a short story, a poem, or a song using the different types of regular verbs to say what you do on at the uni.
