Book Description: Somos San Anto is an Open Educational Resource (OER) designed for undergraduate Spanish as a Heritage Language courses, with a focus on the cultures, histories, literatures, and linguistic diversity of Texas. The platform integrates analog and digital humanities approaches to engage students with the linguistic and cultural heritage of San Antonio and the broader Texas borderlands through interactive, community-centered learning. The project was co-directed by Sylvia Fernández and Stephanie Brock Gonzalez (UT San Antonio) and developed collaboratively with a team of Spanish Heritage Language instructors and graduate students in UT San Antonio's M.A. in Spanish program. The OER provides openly accessible instructional materials that support culturally responsive, place-based pedagogy while promoting students' linguistic, cultural, and digital literacies. Somos San Anto: Abrazando nuestros lenguajes, herencia cultural y comunidad was made possible through a UTSA Libraries and Museums Adopt-a-Free-Textbook grant.
