Para este proyecto, van a trabajar en grupos de tres para investigar organizaciones activistas en el sur de Texas, with each group investigando una organización diferente. You will present your findings a la clase en español.
Presenter 1: Organization Overview
- Duties:
- Investigate the history and mission of the chosen activist group.
- Identify the key issues the organization addresses.
- Provide background information on the founders or key figures involved in the organization
Presenter 2: Activities and Impact
- Duties:
- Research the specific activities, campaigns, or programs the organization is involved in.
- Examine the impact of these activities on the community and any measurable outcomes.
- Look for recent news articles, reports, or case studies related to the organization’s work.
Presenter 3: Community Involvement and Future Goals
- Duties:
- Explore how the organization engages with the community and encourages participation.
- Identify opportunities for individuals to get involved or support the organization.
- Investigate the organization’s future goals and upcoming projects.
Guidelines for Presentation:
- The entire presentation should be conducted in Spanish.
- Each group will have 8-10 minutes to present.
