Actividad B: Cocinando en familia

Cooking with family

Instructions:

Choose a Latino dish and write the recipe. Remember to write a list of ingredients and the mode of preparation.

  • You are going to create a video of you cooking the chosen dish.
  • In the video, you must be the other cooking. You are welcome to invite a member of your family or a friend or roommate to help you cook. You must show in the video the list of ingredients used to prepare such dish. You will be narrating the mode of preparation of your dish and present it to serve.
  • After you are done cooking your chosen dish, you will talk about the experience. Why did you chose such dish, does it brings memories to your mind, was it easy or hard to cook, were you able to find the ingredients you needed for your dish?
  • The duration of your video must be between 5 to 7 min. Edit the video with music, title, pictures if you need to.
  • You can use your personal cellphone as a tool to record your video, or use zoom or any other tool of your choice.
  • You are welcome to speak in your video in English, Spanish or Spanglish.
  • Be creative!

In this manner you can put into practice what you have learn in this chapter.
