Actividad A: Latinos/as/es en mi universidad

Objetivo: Attending student clubs plays a vital role in creating a strong and enriching community. These clubs allow students to connect with people, sharing common interests. By joining these organizations, students can actively contribute to building a vibrant and diverse community where everyone has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive together.

Instrucciones:

  1. Research and contact a club or event that provides resources, services, or spaces specifically for Hispanic/Latino students like you.
  2. Visit the physical location or office where the activities take place. If it is a meeting or event, be there. If it is an office, you will need to schedule an appointment to speak with a representative of the organization.
  3. Take a group picture at the place you choose to visit, each student should attach this image along with a reflection on the experience.
  4. Write a reflection on your club meeting experience after attending at least 2 meetings during the semester. Your reflection should be around 100 to 150 words in the language of your choice; English, Spanish, or Spanglish.
    • What is the benefit of participating in this club?
    • What are the goals of the club?
    • Did you accomplish them during the meeting, how did you do it?
    • Would you recommend this club to your friends? Explain
