Actividad A – Festivales de Texas

Objetivos: Festivals enrich the life of a community, promote cultural diversity, and preserve its unique and valuable identity. Events like these foster community unity, respect, and understanding between individuals, strengthening a society’s cultural environment.

Instrucciones:

1. For this activity, you are going to create a map of 5 festivals in other Texas cities.
   • To create the map, you can use Google My Maps.
2. The map should include the following information:
   • Name of the festival
   • When and where the festival is held
   • Brief history of the festival
   • The cultural group represented
   • The foods you can find there
   • List of activities
   • Photos and/or short videos about this celebration
3. Your map must have at least 5 festivals, (you cannot use Fiesta San Antonio).
4. Finally, create your own festival giving the reason why this festival should be held.
   • Name of the festival
   • Brief history
   • Culture being celebrated
