12 Adding Student Disability Service Providers to Your Course
The Purpose of Adding the SDS_Provider Role in Canvas
The purpose of this role is to enable service providers (Student Disability Services staff and associated service providers) to review published and unpublished course content. Individuals with this role will be able to provide services for students registered with Student Disability Services (such as ASL interpreting, live captioning, SDS Adaptive Testing Center, and SDS Alternative Format) by allowing them to view your content only; they will not edit or change the visibility of your content. If you have any questions about how this role will be utilized by SDS staff and contracted service providers you may contact SDS directly (we need their email probably). If you need assistance enrolling SDS staff or service providers in your course using this role you may email DigitalAccessibility@utsa.edu.
