Portfolios
WRC 1013 and 1023 require a digital portfolio for each student. A portfolio allows you and your professor to see the growth and changes in your writing. Throughout the semester, keep all your writing for the end-of-course portfolio.
- This requirement means everything—from minor in-class free-writes to major graded essay assignments.
- Toward the end of the semester, you will study your working portfolio for evidence to support a reflective self-analysis of your writing.
- Your portfolio grade will be based on the quality of your written self-analysis; the presence of clear, organized evidence; and any other requirements given by your professor.
- Two to three weeks before the end of the semester, you will receive specific directions for the formal portfolio and the required self-analysis.
