Book Description
Gwen Young, Lindsay Ratcliffe, and Ivette Gomez wrote Introduction to Introduction to Environmental Studies to meet the needs of students enrolled in ES 1003: Survey Topics in Environmental Studies at UT San Antonio. This OER addresses challenges with delivering a broad-based introductory course that ensures students—particularly those from non-science backgrounds—come away with an appreciation for the depth and breadth of environmental issues and an understanding of how to engage with these issues productively, regardless of their major discipline. Introduction to Introduction to Environmental Studies was made possible through a UTSA Libraries and Museums Adopt-a-Free-Textbook grant.
